I just put "Iron Maiden" in on youtube and spent an alarming number of hours watching videos, live bootlegs, tribute acts and so on.
I discovered a reassuring number of fan tributes: maiden image galleries to the creator's favourite anthems.
God bless them all. It really isn't just me.
The most interesting however, were clips of tribute band "The Iron Maidens"
A bunch of fit girls playing Maiden. Two of my favourite things in the world colliding.
