What new covers have you got planned Guys.
Maybe some more Hives...so dave can fuck up the bass line...lol dave.
Maybe you can do more of a stage show where Dave gets attacked with a blooded axe and the trousers fight back.
Whats your track list for the 26th Nov ?

We're actually thinking of some Rush, or maybe Primus. You know, something with a nice and easy bass line to it.

Les Claypool bass work might by a bit too easy for nailbag. How about a bit of Maiden, but speed it up a bit just so he doesn't get bored?
Matt.

I think the bridge sections in Aces High would be ideal, although maybe he'd have to play it on a fretless to maintain his interest.

Or how about "Flight of the Bumblebee" a la Joey Demaio of Manowar? On an eight string of course.
Matt.

The Flight of the Bumblebee is genius.Unfort its not PUNK genius -the genre of the band.Is there such a thing as Punk genius and could you provide me with an example? Have you checked out any of these websites;Subsonic Wings Of Neptune,The Miramar Disaster or Dirty Blood. SWAN's site is good -the image was not just for Helloween! Dirty Bloods site is not good but theit mp3's are the dogs bollocks check out the guitar sound its senstional. The Miramar Disaster-what are they named after? Their site is good and their demo is great. We have got to start getting gigs with these types of bands. You original and cool.

I'm afraid that an example of punk genius does not spring immediately to mind.
I love punk like a brother, but its beauty is usually in its simplicity, attitude and its downright pit-tastic singalongability.
The Dead Pets for example. Their fantastic punk n' roll songs (expertly crafted and delivered) and an extremely talented frontman make for one of the most entertaining and darn fun gigs you could ever attend. But genius? No. The only artists I like who could claim such an accolade belong to the metal and electronic camps I'm afraid.
Matt.

Why not do some HÜSKER DÜ. Make's no sense at all is a wonderful track. I think they were described as Hardcore indie punk. And 2 Umlauts. Fantastic.. A picture of me, with my favourite 1985 hardcore import and looking quite bitchin' as I flip my wig.

How about a Misfits track?
They're straight-forward, loved by metalheads and punks alike, plenty of comedy horror song titles and lyrics, and they're all pretty short so nobody can get bored. And I really like them.
You could also get Nailbag to dress up as a skellington.

Almost anything off American Psycho would be good. I like the Haunting and Hell Night (hidden track) as well as Don't open till Doomsday, The Shining and Resurrection.
Metallica covered a couple of their best early ones (Last Caress and Die Die my Darling) but there's still Astro Zombies, Mommy can I go out and kill tonight, Earth A.D, etc.
If you prefer the more melodic recent stuff, Hunting Humans (from Famous Monsters) is a top song from this era and one of the best.
HUNTING HUMANS
Upon this threshold of disaster, The birth of the eleventh plague. The fires burn at night, I begin to doubt the smell of burning flesh... Will ever fade away.
The touch of death is all around us, A thousand corpses block our way. A man-made germ makes almost everyone commit suicide... Just to rise and eat their dead.
Night of the living Dead!
We're hunting humans, whoah-oah-oah-oah! We're hunting humans, whoah-oah-oah-oah! We're hunting humans, whoah-oaaahhh-ah-oh! We're hunting humans... It's killing time every day.
I can't control this eerie feeling, An evil screaming in my head. I don't think I'll last the night, there is no cure for this genocide... Resurrection of the dead.
Night of the living Dead!
We're hunting humans, whoah-oah-oah-oah! We're hunting humans, whoah-oah-oah-oah! We're hunting humans, whoah-oaaaahhh-ah-oh! We're hunting humans... It's killing time every day. It's killing time every day-ay-ay. It's killing time... Every day.
Poetry! ;D
