The scottish originator Ivor Cutler has died. This strange and darkly funny man, was a seminal influence on all punk and metal music of the last 80 years. An regular contributor to the John Peel show, playing 21 times!, he appeared as Buster Bloodvessel in the Beatles Magical Mystery tour film, and also on NEil Innes` television programme. His instrument of choice was the Harmonium. Here is a list of some of his famous songs From 1959 and 1961: - "Here's a Health to Simon", "Size Nine and a Half", "Mary Is a Cow", "Pickle Your Knees", "Gravity Begins at Home", "A Cowpuncher and a Bird", "The Boo Boo Bird","Stick out Your Chest", "Turkish Bath Play", "Theres a Turtle in My Soup", "Gruts for Tea", "Get Away from the Wall", "The Tureen" www.ivorcutler.org/
